F: Senti, questo fine settimana che cosa fai?
(Listen, what are you doing this weekend?)
K: Non ho nessun programma.
(I don't have any plans.)
F: Domenica io faccio una gita a Tivoli con i miei amici.
(On Sunday I'm going on a trip to Tivoli with my friends.)
Andiamo a visitare Villa d'Este.
(We are going to visit Villa d'Este.)
Perché non vieni anche tu?
(Why don't you come along?)
K: Sì, vengo volentieri.
(Yes, I am happy to come.)
Tivoli è fuori Roma ,vero?
(Tivoli is outside Rome, right?)
Andiamo con il treno o con l'autobus?
(Are we going by train or bus?)
F: Andiamo con la macchina del mio amico.
(Let's go in my friend's car.)
C'è posto anche per te.
(There is room for you, too.)
K: Che bello! A che ora partiamo?
(How nice! What time are we leaving? )
F: Alle nove. Va bene? Vengo a prenderti a casa tua.
( At nine. Is that okay? I'll pick you up at your place.)
K: Grazie. Allora ti aspetto alle nove.
(Thank you. I'll expect you at nine then.)
