バフマン・ゴバディ監督新作「Half Moon」完成、カンヌ出品
気鋭のクルド人映画監督バフマン・ゴバディの新作「Half Moon」（「Ni^ve^ Heyve^」）が完成、今年５月17日から28日に開催されるカンヌ映画祭に出品される予定です。

Bahman Ghobadi’s new film: Half Moon
Famous Kurdish director Bahman Ghobadi's just finished his new film Half Moon. Shot in Sanadaj, a Kurdish city in Iranian Kurdistan, the film tells the story of a group of Kurdish musician whose only aim to give a free concert in a free country environment. Written and directed by Bahman Ghobadi, Half Moon is expected to be shown at 59th International Cannes Film Festival that is going to take place between 17-28 May of 2006.
Ghobadi, on the contrary of his earlier three feature films, uses professional actors and actress in this film; Iranian actresses Hedyeh Tehrani, Golshifteh Farahani and actor Hasan Pour-Shirazi are sharing the main roles. Hedyeh Tehrani is also assistant director, and camera credit goes to Nygel Balak, editing by Hayde Sifiyar, music by Hossein Alizadeh, a welknown Iranian musician.
