米国の貧困層の経済状況は、ユニバーサル・ベーシック・インカム（UBI）の導入を待っていられるのでしょうか？

私は、UBIの導入はそう遠くない将来に実現すると考えています。米国では経済的に困窮する人々の数が増加し、その貧困の深刻さも増しているからです。ニューヨーク市だけでも、本来は緊急時のための支援であるフードパントリー（食料配給所）を利用する人の数が年々増えています。彼らは食料を購入する経済的余裕がない人々です。食料品の価格は今後も上昇し続けるでしょう。なぜなら、米国の金融資本主義の性質上、富裕層を支えるために借金を積み重ねる構造になっており、その借金の支払いを免れるための防波堤として米軍が機能しているからです。

Can the financial situation of the poor in the United States of America wait for Universal Basic Income?

I argue Universal Basic Income, U.B.I. will come sooner rather than later, as fiscal poor people in the USA are growing in number or intensity of fiscal poverty. In New York City alone, the number of people who use food pantries, which are meant for emergency is growing each year. These are people who can't afford to buy food. Food is only going to grow in cost because the nature of fiscal capitalism in the U.S.A. is to support the wealthy by adding debt that the US Military protects the USA from having to pay.

私にとって、ファンタジー小説における最大の疑問は、「現代のアメリカ合衆国を反映したファンタジー作品はどこにあるのか？」ということです。私にはよく分かりませんが、皆さんはどう思いますか？もし何か心当たりがあれば、ぜひ教えてください。多くの人は、アメリカは建国から250年しか経っておらず歴史が浅いため、独自のファンタジーを持たないと言います。しかし、アメリカが500年の歴史を持つようになったとき、その理屈はもはや通用しなくなるはずですよね？

今週は、サンドラ・ブランドとアサタ・シャクールという二人の黒人女性にまつわる記念すべき（あるいは追悼すべき）週です。彼女たちは、アメリカの黒人の大多数が250年にわたり、さらにはアメリカ建国以前の欧州植民地時代を含めれば500年以上にわたり直面してきた、負の側面を象徴する存在と言えます。

The first week to the next 250 years, in fantasy

In my mind the biggest question in fantasy fiction is where is the fantasy book that reflects modern United States of America? I don't really know, do you? If you have any ideas, do tell. Many have said the USA doesn't have a fantasy because it is too young, at two hundred and fifty years. But that argument can not be acceptable when the USA is five hundred years old, right?

This coming week is the anniversary of the death of Sandra Bland and Assata Shakur, two Black women who showcase the negative relationship a majority of Black people in the United States of America lived with for two hundred and fifty years and from the European Colonies that preceded the USA for over five hundred years.

Happy Aphelion
The United States of America is two hundred and fifty years old and growing. Someone once said the USA's greatest power is it's ability to change. In truth all governments change over time, cause all governments are made by humans, and humans change. But the USA more than any government in humanity before it, legalized the ability of individual protection against majorities or groups. And it is the protection of individuals that is the keystone to the ability of the USA to change. Many countries started after the USA allow for change but don't protect individuals the same way. 

The Aphelion will occur on July 6, 2026 1:30 pm EST 94,502,962 mi .
