個人的にはフロリダ、ジョージアとテキサス州の結果が気になりますが、全体的にどうなるのかはコメンテーターの意見や調査によって異なり、読めそうにないです。
Personally, I'm interested to see the results in Florida, Georgia, and Texas, but in terms of what will happen with the elections overall, it's hard to say with so many commentators and polls saying vastly different things.

過去60年のデータを見ると、大統領の支持率が50％以下だった場合、「mid-term wave」が起きました（1966年（ベトナム戦争）と1974年（Watergateスキャンダル後）は例外）。
Looking at data from the past 60 years, when the approval rating of a president fell below 50%, a mid-term wave occurred (with the exception of 1966 (Vietnam War) and 1974 (post-Watergate)).
「Mid-term wave」とは、ある党が20席以上上院と下院で奪い返す現象のことを言います。
A mid-term wave is a phenomenon in which a party takes more than 20 seats in the Senate and the House.
他にも数々のデータを使ってBBCは中間選挙の結果を予測しますが、結局、「まぁでもどうなるかわからないよね」って感じです。
BBC uses other metrics to forecast how the mid-terms will turn out, but in the end, it's still really unknown what will actually happen.
2016年の大統領選挙で、世論調査と実際の結果のギャップがどれほど大きかったのかが見え、調査方法やデータの取り方も見直され工夫されるようになりましたが、今回の中間選挙の結果によって世論調査というものが、どれだけずれているのかがわかると思います。
In the 2016 presidential elections, we saw how big of a gap there was between the polling numbers and actual results, and the way polls were collected and analyzed were reevaluated and seemingly improved. Depending on what happens during these mid-terms, I feel we will be able to see even more clearly the significance (or lack thereof) of polling.
一つ言えるのは、これは「普通」の中間選挙ではないこと。正直、過去の中間選挙はここまで取り上げられなかったですし、アメリカ国民も興味を持っていませんでした。
One thing I can say is that this is not a "normal" mid-term election. Media coverage for the mid-terms has never been so high, and honestly, many Americans really had no interest in mid-terms until this year.
今回は早期投票数が3600千万を超え、過去に比べるとかなり多いので（2014年は2700千万）、今回の中間選挙は投票率がかなり高いと言われています。
The number of early voters has exceeded 36 million (compared to 27 million in 2014), so voter turnout for these mid-terms is expected to be quite high.

Btw, on a completely separate note...the other day, I made falafels using the falafel mix I bought at Trader Joe's while I was in the states.

油で揚げずに少量のオリーブオイルを使ってフライパンで焼きましたが美味しかったです! ハマスも作りました
Instead of deep frying it in oil, I pan fried it in a bit of olive oil, and it turned out great! With homemade hummus on the side.
