Long time no talk...
12月もあっという間に終わりですね！
It feels like December just came and went!
今月は色々楽しいことがありました
I had a lot of fun things going on this month.
アベマファミリー・松浦さんと、エマちゃんの舞台を観に行ったり・・・（エマちゃんの歌声、素敵！）
Like going with Matsuura-san to see the talented Emma and her wonderful musical (Emma has the voice of an angel!)
イギリスから遊びに来た友達と10年ぶりに会えたり…
Meeting up with a friend visiting from London for the first time in over 10 years...
ニュージャージーから遊びに来た母と箱根に行ったり…
Traveling to Hakone with my mom, who was visiting from NJ...
(ものすごく寒かったけど - it was freezing!)
立ち上げて四年目に入る会社の忘年会をやったり…
Holding an awesome end-of-the-year party, hosted by our start-up company, which is going into its fourth year...

そして最後になるんですが、来年からまたちゃんとブログを更新したいなと思っていまして・・
And last but not least, I was thinking about how I can more consistently update my blog starting from next year.
自分の日常について書いていても皆さんもつまらないと思いますし、正直自分が書きたいと思うことでもないので…
It's probably quite dull to read about my daily life, and in all honesty, I'm not too inclined to write about my personal life...
日記ではないですし、私自身そんな特別な人間ではないので、逆に読者の皆様がどのような内容の記事を「読みたいな」と思ってくれるのかによって、内容を変えていこうかなと思っています。
This isn't a diary, and I myself am not a super special or tremendously interesting person. So, I'm thinking that I want to realign this blog to be a place where I can write about what you as readers would like to read about.
私が長年愛読しているブログは、「月曜日は〇〇について」「火曜日は〇〇特集」など、テーマを曜日ごとに決めて書いているものが多いので、そのほうが私も続けやすく書いていても楽しいですし、読者の方々にとっても読みやすいのかなと思い！
The blogs that I've been reading religiously for years often have set themes or topics according to the day...for example, Mondays will feature a certain topic, and Tuesdays are dedicated to a completely different set topic. I feel this may be easier for me to continue this blog and enjoy the writing process, and hopefully, it will be easier for you as readers to follow my blog.
なので、もし何か興味のあるトピックや読んでみたいテーマなどありましたら、是非コメント欄に書き込みしてください

英語学習だったりアメリカの大学事情、国際政治、テロ関係…なんでも良いです！
It can be about anything...English acquisition, insider's knowledge about American universities, global politics, terrorism-related topics, etc.
