ロサンゼルス→羽田の１１時間のフライトはほとんど乗客がのってなく、３席を独り占めすることができました！国際便でこんなガラガラなフライト初めてーー
My 11-hour flight from LA to Haneda had close to no passengers, so I was able to use 3 seats all to myself! I've never been on an international flight that was so empty
しかも、新しいボーイング機（７８７だっけな？）…かなり豪華！
To top it off, this was the new Boeing (787, I think?)...so luxurious!

実はこのフライトにアメリカ兵が３人乗っていて、CAさんたちが彼らをビズネスクラスにアップグレードしました。
Actually, there were three U.S. soldiers on the flight, and the CAs upgraded them to business class.
よくあるのが、ビジネスクラスやファーストクラスの人が、アメリカ兵を見かけてエコノミークラスに乗っていると知ったら、席をかわってあげるんです。「命をかけてアメリカを守ってくれてありがとう」というお礼の気持ち。
Often times, passengers flying business or first class change seats when they find out a soldier is on board, as a thank you to their brave service.
また旅行行きたいなー…
