年頭のご挨拶を申し上げます。
2016年の年明け、富士山は例年になく雪が少なく、5合目まで車で登れました。
お正月に5合目のレストハウスが空いているのは9年ぶりなのだそう。
ページのトップに富士山を冠している「シェア♥玉手匣」の年頭の露払いに、
富士山の5合目から見上げた頂上と、南アルプスを望む雲海の光景を添えられるのは嬉しい限りです。
さて、「シェア♥玉手匣」第6弾はOKANOのソウルフード、Adam Ant の「Apollo 9」。
遠く80年代、私も目からウロコが落ちるような、楽しいアイディアとセンス、音楽とファッションに満ち溢れたイギリスのロック、ポップミュージックシーンを大いに謳歌した世代ですが、当時「アダムが好き」なんて言おうものなら、キワモノ好きとみんなに思い切りバカにされたものでした。
私のキワモノ好きは否定しませんが、アダムはキワモノというより、ヒーロー&ならず者好き。孤独な戦士。
そんなアダムの稀有な才能に特に仰天したのが「Apollo 9」。
4小節と、同じ声歌い方で歌っていないこの人は、いったい何者っ……。
この曲を聴いたときに、アダムは天才だ、と得心しました。（楽器以外すべてアダムの声）
普通に歌えば、声はいいし、メイクをとれば、シャイなハンサム…なのに……。
一応、頭で計算していたかもしれないけど、いざやってみたら、そんなものはブッ超えていた。
一度メイクをすると鏡に映るその姿にアダム自身、身も心も奉仕して自分もファンも楽しませてしまう。（周りからは、俺様好きナルシストと思われる）
そんなアダムを敬愛します。
昨年秋の超長引いた風邪から復帰した時、ああ、元気が出る曲「Apollo9」が聴きたいと、検索したらやっぱりすごいPVがUPされていました。
80年代当時は日本ではそんなPVを見るチャンスはありませんでしたから、思いは再燃です。
当時のアダムの運動神経とリズムセンス、体力、純度、流れ込むエネルギーに驚嘆です。
◎「Apollo 9」元気出ますよ。
◎「Jolly Roger」"The Prince Charming Revue"ライブの中の1曲。リフレインは「海賊旗を掲げよ！」。ジョニー・デップも彼で勉強したでしょう。惚れますよ。
◎「Live in Tokyo」がフルでUPされていました。
理屈抜き。Adamの肉体を流れるエネルギーを楽しみました。
