アイソン彗星は消滅するか？

世紀の大彗星と騒がれている、アイソン彗星 C/2012 S1は、

日本時間　本日２９日午前4時09分に太陽に最接近した(近日点通過）。

アイソン彗星が太陽に近づいていく様子を一昨日からのSOHO画像で示す。

近日点通過以降、
アイソン彗星が蒸発・消滅しなかったかどうかは、本日午後の画像で判明すると思われる。

もし崩壊消滅していなければ、

１２月３日から明け方の東天に長い尾を引いた姿を見ることが出来るだろう。

追記：彗星探索家木内鶴彦氏は今月２５日の会合で、アイソン彗星消滅の可能性に言及していた。

NASAの発表ではアイソン彗星は崩壊蒸発したと言っていたが、
この画像では太陽の反対側に現れているように見える。
