C:Prevention is important especially since the cure of dementia has yet to be found, though I hear the promising drags are being developed. I'm hoping that someone comes up with the cure soon, because the thought of having dementia scares me.
L:I keep hearing about things like brain fitness classes as a way of warding off Dementia. What do you make of that?
:There is no hard evidence to support that actually. But that hasn't prevent brain fitness class becoming very popular. In any event, they give all the folks a chance to learn useful skills that improve their overall health and quality of life.
C:My aunt is taking one of those courses. She says it made her think deeper and read more. But she says the best thing about the course is that they helps her to get more out of life. She has a lot of good conversation with other people in the class, and she says she hasn't laugh so much in a long time.
U:That's great. One of the worst things about growing old is isolation and loneliness. And there is a lot of truth to the old saying that laughter is the best medicine. It strengthen your immune system and improves your mood, reduces your pain and protects you from the damaging affects your stress.
