Some Japanese friends gathered and enjoyed this Japanese pan. It cost less and tasted very good. 
Mother went back to Japan. I never thought she could come here because she had no interest in going abroad. Things change as time goes by. There's no fixed future, and my mind should be flexible.
Today, before going back to SF, we went to a Korean restaurant. My sister loves Korean things, and the restaurant is my sister's favorite. We enjoyed their spicy foods very much.
My mother is going back to Japan tomorrow, and she and I stayed at a hotel near the airport in SF.

Finally, we had this moment. My sister's longtime efforts got paid off.
Since the graduation ceremony finished in the evening and we were tired to go to a restaurant, we bought some foods at a Japanese supermarket and celebrated my sister's graduation together at my sister's apartment. It was a cozy party. 
In the morning, we went to a photo studio in my sister's university. We hadn't taken a family photo since my sister's 7th year celebration (Japanese traditional 7th, 5th, and, 3rd year celebration), I was happy to take a family photo.
Then, we bought Japanese lunch and had it at home. My mother is really eating only Japanese food.

Little Tokyo in LA seems to have more Japanese people than Japan Town in SF.
We three went to Universal Studio. It was too hot to walk around, but we enjoyed a lot. Although my sister and I often went out together when we were in Japan, my mother hadn't been somewhere like amusement parks with us for a very long time. I was very glad. My family is changing.

After one-hour airplane travel, my sister picked up my mother and me at LAX (LA airport). I still can't believe that she drives.
On the way to a Japanese hotel, we passed through the LA downtown. I saw the Disney concert hall (below) that I saw several years ago.
We went to a Japanese ramen restaurant in little Tokyo. That restaurant seems to be owned by Korean people, but the ramen and other dishes were very delicious.

As my sister told me, this kind of frozen yogurt icecream is in fashion now in LA. It was very good.
My mother and I went to the typical sightseeing spots today. Although we took taxies, a bicycle rickshaw and a cable car, we also had a lot of walking. Maybe it was too much walking until we felt exhausted and sick. . . Our schedule was too full, even though my mother is very healthy and has stamina. However, other than that, today was a great day because she seemed to be enjoying sightseeing and eating.

The Japanese restaurant where we all went for dinner didn't have delicious dishes. . . You can't really eat proper Japanese food abroad. I knew it, but my mother and Taiwanese friend looked very dissapointed.
