NEWLY-CROWNED County Champions Notts have capped a great summer by signing a new sponsorship agreement with PKF.

Having backed the team for the past ten years the accountants and business advisers have underlined their commitment to the club by extending the deal for a further three years.

"As a Nottingham boy born and bred, I am extremely proud of the achievements of Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club," said PKF partner Paul Ellis.

In addition to securing branding rights on the club's shirts, PKF continue to award a player of the month prize to first team players.

They have also helped to drive forward the club's community offering by financing the qualifications of aspiring coaches and providing Kwik Cricket sets for local schools.

Notts' chief executive Derek Brewer said: "We pride ourselves on forging meaningful partnerships with organisations that share our values and our relationship with PKF continues to embody that."

Award: Mullaney Meanwhile, Andre Adams was crowned player of the season at the club's gala dinner on Wednesday evening.

The New Zealand international took 68 wickets in the four-day campaign.

Vacheron Constantin "Player of the season is a nice honour and there are a few other guys who would have been worthy winners," said Adams.

"I live with Charlie Shreck who has won this award twice before so it's nice to get one back on him."

All-rounder Steven Mullaney was awarded young player of the year while Sam Wood took the award for the most improved academy player.
