1918年11月11日の第一次世界大戦終結を記念して、イギリス国王ジョージ5世によって定められた記念日です。

2019年11月16日。
矢作直樹先生の講演会の際に、一面に広がる赤いケシの花の写真を拝見させていただきました。
これはそのときに聴こえてきた音と浮かぶ言葉を歌として表現させていただいたものです。
古来、歌や舞は祈りのためにありました。
私にとって歌うことは祈ることです。
もしお一人でも多くの方が、平和への想いをよせる
少しのきっかけになってくださいましたら大変有難く存じます。
世界の平和を祈ります。
