I found daikon is now on sale at the usual farmer’s. 

大根　出てました。

今年の初大根だって。

It’s this years first harvest. 

葉付きがうれしいねえ。

They all come with beautiful fresh leaves. 

Isn’t it nice? 

立派な大根でしょ？

And here is some complimentary as always.

Although they are still very small, they do look like daikon already.

Mr. Farmer advised me that it should be nice in miso soup.
