Remember the sweet potatoes my daughter brought home as a souvenir last week?
興伸の大学芋
三日で完食。
うち、みんな好きだからねー。
で、いつものように、大量にたれが余った…
As we all love it, we finished all of them in three days.
Then there was a lot of sauce left, as usual.
ラスイチって、みんな食べないんだよねー…
手を出しにくい オーラ、ありますよね。
You see the last one left, looking so lonely?
Why do we always feel a kind of guilty to have the very last one left like that?
There sure is something that keeps us away from it, don’t you think?
タレだけ 測ってみたら
結構 あるよね〜❓
I am curious about how much sauce is actually left.
143g, that’s quite a lot.
ちなみに
興伸は、おいもを先に測って
タレはあとがけ。
だから、タレの分値段かさまし、ってことは、ありません。
素晴らしいですねー。
At the shop, they measure the potatoes first, then pour the sauce later on, so the sauce is not counted in the total price.
Fair and square!
I find it is a very good idea.
例によって たれでリメイクしました。
I made use of the sauce again.
This time I used some other ingredients as well.
今回は、ちょっとあそんでみました。

じゃーん❗️ 
さつま芋の他に、さといも、かぼちゃも入れてみました。
I used taro and pumpkin as well as sweet potato.
Grill them in the fish roaster until it’s soft and well cooked.
Then mix in the sauce.
魚焼きグリルでこんがり焼いて、
火が通ったら
タレをからめます。
ちょっと濃い感じだったので、
少し水で薄めてから
軽くレンチンしました。
I thought it a little too thick, so I added some water
to make it thin, and microwaved it for a few seconds.
How is that?

これがね、びっくり❗️
めっちゃ、美味いんです❗️
Believe it or not, it’s amazingly tasty!
さといも かぼちゃ
それぞれの独特の味 クセが、
大学芋のタレによく合います。
Both taro and pumpkin have distinctive taste and flavor but they go so well with the sauce.
It may even be better than the original sweet potato.
It is truly a great success!

もしかして 大学芋 超えてるかも❓❓
ってくらい。
I’m sure it will be another one of my family’s favorites.
大学さといも & かぼちゃ
うちの定番おやつになりそうです。
