It’s my favorite!
Compared to male crabs, the legs are thinner and there is not much meat inside.
But instead we can enjoy all those eggs and the creamy brown meat.
北陸出身の私
子供の頃は、一冬に何杯食べたかなあ、という 
昔は、安かったからねー。
今思うと、贅沢だったなあ。
今は、乱獲を規制するためもあり、
お値段も、高騰しちゃいましたね。
I grew up in Toyama as a child.
I used to eat quite a number of them during winter, for they were much cheaper at that time.
Now due to the movement to prevent overfishing, the price has skyrocketed in recent years.
