My husband and I had an outing to Shinjuku and had a lunch with his parents yesterday.
It's located at the top of 野村 building, one of the sky scrapers there.
Wow! It's a breathtaking view!
But it must be quite a torture for those who are afraid of heights.

義父 つまり 旦那のお父さん と 旦那は
昔から ソリが合わなくて
訳あって 長いこと 会っていなかったんです。
この日は、 ホントにホントに
久しぶりに顔を合わせ
無事 というか、比較的 というか
普通に 歓談 出来ました。
My father in law is a very stubborn man, who is very difffucult to get along with.
My husband had a very hard time grown my up under his control as a child.
窓際で 眺めがよく 気持ちよかった。
でも、高所恐怖症の人には、辛いかも❓
お義父さんは ちょっと というか、かなり 偏屈な人で 付き合うのが 本当に難しい方でした。
Since we got married, we both had gone through many difficulties with him.
Yes, just so many!
So, I was pretty nervous that day, to be honest.
However he became relatively calm as he grew older there was no problem talking with him over the lunch.
I was very relieved then.
結婚してから 私もそりゃ〜 いろいろ
あったんです。
そんなお義父さんも
だいぶ 穏やかになられていました。
四人で 食事 なんて
今まで ずっとなかったので
本当によかった。
ホッとしました。
On the way back home we saw a number of お神輿 going on along the street of 門前仲町.
It was really exciting to see so many of them at the same time in the same place!
They were truly everywhere!
The street was jammed with お神輿.
帰宅途中 門前仲町のあたりで
お神輿を発見 
町ごとに お神輿を出すみたいで
すごい数❗️
もう、あっちにもこっちにも
お神輿 だらけ❗️
まるで お神輿 渋滞 でしたよ。
The carriers were being watered and cooled by shower.
It was such he fun to see them.
暑い中 担ぎ手に お水をかけていました。
