Apple, Chinese lighting company argue over 'iPhone' trademark
BEIJING--U.S. computer giant Apple Inc. is demanding that a Chinese company abandon its claim to the right to use the “iPhone” name for its flashlights and other products, sources said Feb. 21.

１．一人の人が誰か他の人と、argueすると、その人達は、お互いに賛成しておらず、怒って話をしている。
また、その二人は、argueするとも言える。
例＞その委員会は選手達の行動、特に、審判に怒って話すという態度を懸念している。
彼らは、まだ怒って話をしていた。通りで彼らが怒って話をしているのが聞こえた。
なるほど、両会社は、「アイフォン」という商標をめぐって、怒りながら話をしている訳ですね。
う～ん、まあ、りんごが怒るのは当然ですよね。
argue と対極にあるのが、discussではないかと思いますが、
argue する人は、あまり好ましい態度ではなく、自分の言い分が正しいという事を、ひたすら言いますが、discussする人達は、礼儀正しく、「その意見には賛成だ。」とか、「私は、別な見方をしている。」と言い、自分の見解を述べます。
自分が正しいとひたすら言い続けているなら、それは、discuss（～を討論する）ではなく、言い争っているだけです。
言い争いには、納得できる答えはないでしょうから、大変ですね。
