この桜は野生種で、江戸彼岸桜です
This cherry tree is a wild species and the variety is"Edo-Higan"

満開になると、どこかの新聞に載るのが、この桜。

毎年この時期には、車が並びます。

民家の庭先をキジが歩いていました。
Pheasant is walking in the garden of a private house.

しかし、私にはなぜここにやってきたのかが分かります。
But, I can tell you why they came here.

今年は1月下旬からずっと雪が降り続きました。
It has been snowing since late January, this year.

全ての食糧が深い雪に覆われてしまったのです。
All the food was covered with deep snow.

人間は庭を除雪します。
Humans remove the snow in the garden.

その所の草だけ食べられるのです
Only the grass at that place can be eaten.

南砺市の各家庭には池があります。
Each family in Nanto City has a pond.

たいていの家ではその池でコイを養殖しています
Most houses are raising carp in that pond

何故コイなのかというと、池で大きく成長するからだと思います
Why is it such a carp? Because it grows bigger in the pond

赤祖父湖はフナ釣りで有名になってしまいました。
The Akasobu lake has become famous for Crucian carp fishing.

しかし、この地域でフナを食べる習慣はありません。
But, there are no customs that a Crucian carp is eaten in this area.

私たちにとってフナはいまいちなのです
We don't want to fish a small Crucian carp.
