Baltimore Album Quilt は、the mid-nineteenth centuryに
Maryland州のBaltimoreで作られた appliquéd quilt です。

その特徴は、white/off-white backgroundに
red and green の exquisite な　appliqueを
ほどこしていることです。







collector の間でも popular なこの type のキルトは、
auction で$200,000　の値をつけたこともあります。


made in 1851




このstyle で作られた現代のキルト＝contemporary　quiltも
Baltimore Album Quilt　と呼ばれます。
