フィリピン・パラワン州の裁判所は
11月24日、南シナ海・南沙（スプラトリー）諸島沖で
ウミガメを密漁したとして漁業法違反などに問われた
中国人漁師９人に対し
罰金約１０万３千ドル（約1,210万円）を科す有罪判決を言い渡した。
（中国側は「現場は中国の主権が及ぶ海域」として
全員の即時解放を求めていた。）
９人は南沙諸島・ハーフムーン礁近くで
希少種を含む数百匹のウミガメを捕獲したとして
フィリピン当局に５月に逮捕され
漁業法と野生生物保護法違反の罪（最大で禁錮２０年）に問われていた。

フィリピン初の鉄道が、マニラからパンガシナン州ダグパンで開通した日。
日本最初の鉄道開通（1872年10月）から20年遅れだったが
営業キロは新橋～横浜間（29キロ）の約７倍、195キロだった。
The 122 years ago, 1822 年 11 月 24 日
Day of the Philippines's first railway was opened in Dagupan city, Pangasinan province from Manila.
That was 20 years behind Japan's first railroad （ 10/1872 ） The opening kilometers Shinbashi-was about 7 times, 195 kilometers between Yokohama (29 km).
