追って合計100人余りのレスキュー隊員を派遣するという。

フィリピン首都圏ケソン市ティモッグのコンドミニアムで
11日午前６時すぎ、コメディアンとしても知られる女優(32)が自宅の部屋に放火した。
駆け付けたコンドミニアム会社の事務員らがすぐに消火し
電灯など家具の一部を焼いただけで大事に至らなかった。
地元消防署の調べによると
この女優は１年近く付き合ってきたルーマニア国籍の男友達が
実はゲイであることを知り、自暴自棄となって火を付けたという。
女優はこの部屋を１カ月前に借り始めたばかりだったという。

東日本大震災の被災地に心的外傷後ストレス障害（ＰＴＳＤ）の専門家を含む
５０～６０人の救援隊の派遣準備に入ったことを明らかにした。
救援隊は救助メンバーや医師らをはじめ、避難所設置の専門家や捜索犬。
軍や保健省などの政府関係者と民間人の混成チームという。
日本政府の受け入れ許可があり次第、出発するという。
