国会演説
国賓として来日中のフィリピンのアキノ大統領は
参院本会議場で演説し
戦後７０年の日本の歩みについて
「日本の平和への貢献に疑いの余地はなく
より公平で進歩的な世界秩序を創り出すことに
深く関与してきた」と述べ、高く評価した。
中国による南シナ海のスプラトリー諸島の岩礁埋め立てについては
中国を名指しはしなかったものの
「東アジアと東南アジアの繁栄は
国際法の範囲外で地理的境界を引き直す試みにより
損なわれる可能性にさらされている」と非難した。
こうした情勢を踏まえ
アキノ氏は日本の国会で審議中の安全保障関連法案について
「最大限の関心と敬意をもって注目している」と語り
南シナ海問題での日本との連携に期待を表明した。

6月2日、フィリピンのアキノ大統領が国賓として来日する。
３日午前に天皇、皇后両陛下と会見し、午後に国会で演説する予定。
４日に予定されている安倍晋三首相との会談では
「中国の海洋進出の動きを踏まえた両国の防衛協力」や
「フィリピンのインフラ整備に対する日本の支援」について
話し合う見通しで、５日に帰国する。
アキノ大統領の来日は昨年６月以来で
安倍首相との会談は６回目となる。

SEAirはクラークを拠点とし、ATR42型機とボーイング737型機を運航。
Skyjetはマニラを拠点とする航空会社で、Bae146型機を運航している。
いずれも安全性に対する懸念があるためとしている。
