急逝
第72回ベネチア国際映画祭カレッジシネマ部門で
２冠に輝いた映画「ブランカ」（長谷井宏紀監督）
主演の盲目のフィリピン人ギタリスト、ピーター・ミラリさん(64)がに急逝した。
「ブランカ」は９月２～12日にイタリアで開かれた
べネチア国際映画祭で上映され
ジャーナリストから贈られる「ソッリーゾ・ディベルソ賞」と
若者の世界に肉薄した作品に贈られる「マジックランタン賞」を受賞。
しかし、喜びは一転、映画祭終了の数日後にミラリさんは末期がんと診断された。
処置する間もなく9月20日に亡くなった。

女の友人である外国人たちに写真を見せ、売春あっせんしたという。
少女は売春行為を強要されたことを両親に相談し
両親が警察に通報したことで事件が発覚。
女は人身売買と児童虐待の疑いで逮捕された。
