このほど公表した「２０１１年男女格差報告書」
（調査対象１３５カ国・地域）で
フィリピンは、前年から経済活動への進出度が高まり
１ランク改善して８位だった。
東南アジア諸国でも、域内２位のシンガポール（57位）を
引き離し断然のトップ。
アジア全域でもトップで
女性の社会進出が世界最高水準にある実態が表れた。
日本は、逆に前年から４ランク下げ、98位。
例年同様、主要先進国で最下位だった。

離婚した夫との間に生まれた長男（７）を連れ去ったとして
滋賀県警捜査１課と甲賀署
は５日、未成年者誘拐の疑いで
フィリピン国籍のキノシタ・アネダ・マイバンティング容疑者（４０）を逮捕した。
甲賀署によると、容疑者は
「誕生日祝いをしてあげたかった」と容疑を認めているという。
逮捕容疑は１１月４日午後３時ごろ
湖南市内の小学校から小学２年の長男を連れ去り
午後９時半ごろまでの間
滋賀県彦根市の洋服店や同県近江八幡市のホテルなどを連れ回したとしている。
キノシタ容疑者は
今年２月、長男の父親の日本人男性（４３）と離婚し
長男は父親に引き取られていたという。
小学校からキノシタ容疑者が来たとの連絡を受け
不審に思った父親が１１０番して発覚した。
長男は今月７日が誕生日だったという。
