違法操業
中国漁船の違法操業に悩まされているのは
韓国だけでなく日本やベトナム、フィリピンも同様だ。
一部の国は、違法操業を続ける漁船に機関銃を発砲するなど
強硬な取り締まりを行っている。
日本は、尖閣諸島沖で中国漁船が
海上保安庁の巡視船に衝突した事件（昨年9月）以降
大型巡視船を追加で配備するなど、対応態勢を強化した。
ヘリコプターの離着陸が可能な1300トン級の海洋巡視船1隻と
1000トン級の巡視船3隻を動員し、尖閣諸島沖を常時監視している。
先月6日には、長崎県沖で日本側の停船命令を無視して逃走した
中国漁船（135トン級）を4時間半にわたり追跡し、拿捕した。
南シナ海の島をめぐり、中国と領有権紛争を繰り広げている
フィリピンは、違法操業漁船の取り締まりに軍艦を動員している。
フィリピン海軍は今月2日
自国のパラワン島沖で違法操業をしていた漁船1隻を拿捕し
中国人の乗組員6人を逮捕。
漁船からは絶滅危惧種のアオウミガメ12匹が見つかり
うち9匹はすでに死んでいたという。
ベトナムも、違法操業をする中国漁船を厳しく取り締まっているという。
年7月には、ベトナムの軍艦が違法操業をしている
中国漁船に機関銃を乱射し
拿捕後に軍人が乗組員を甲板にひざまずかせ
監視している様子を映した動画が中国のメディアで公開された。
韓国海洋警察の隊員２人が
１２日に不法操業の中国漁船員に殺傷された事件で
中国政府が適切な対応を取らない場合
韓国政府が来年１月で調整を進めている
李明博大統領の中国訪問を再検討する方針だと報じた。
