対中国 高官級協議
アメリカとフィリピン両政府は
２７日までの２日間
ワシントンで外務、防衛当局の高官級協議を開き
海洋の安全保障協力を強化することで一致
３月に初の外務、防衛担当の閣僚級会合（２プラス２）を開くことで合意した。
協議後に発表した共同声明で明らかにした。
南シナ海にある南沙（英語名スプラトリー）諸島の領有権をめぐり
フィリピンと中国の対立が深まっていることを受け
中国をけん制する狙いがあるとみられる。
協議では、通商、人権問題、災害救援などの分野で協力を強化することでも合意した。
ロイター通信によると
フィリピンの国防相はマニラで２７日
同協議で米国が海軍の新型艦艇「沿岸海域戦闘艦」や
偵察機を配備することを提案したとして
フィリピン政府が検討していることを明らかにした。

フィリピン労働雇用省はこのほど
首都圏で、２月から路線バス運行会社の運転手、車掌の給与体系を
歩合制から固定給に変更するようバス運行会社に命じる省令を出した。
現在、給与体系が歩合制のため
路線バスが少しでも多くの乗客を乗せようと
乗客争奪合戦を繰り返し
これが交通渋滞と事故を多発させる原因と非難されているためだという。

20日、路上生活者の夫婦が道路脇で就寝中
生後４カ月の赤ちゃんを何者かにさらわれた。
母親(23)によると、午前４時ごろに目を覚ました時
横で寝ていた乳児の姿が消えていたという。

日本で多く見られる単独の路上生活ではなく
家族の絆を大切にする国フィリピンでは
路上生活者も家族で、生活する人が多く見られる。
