バターン死の行進（Martsa ng Kamatayan sa Bataan）は
第二次大戦中の日本軍によるフィリピン進攻作戦において
バターン半島で日本軍に投降した
アメリカ軍・フィリピン軍捕虜民間人が
収容所に移動するときに多数死亡した歴史上の事実。
フィリピンでは、バターン半島が陥落した
4月9日を勇者の日 (Araw ng Kagitingan) として休日に定めている。
バタアン州ピラール町では
記念式典が開かれ大統領はじめフィリピン全土

日本人男性が、２人組に約80万円相当を奪われる事件が発生。
また、セブ州では、日本人男性(57)が射殺された。
フィリピン警察は、個人的な恨みが動機とみて調べている。
２人組の犯人の１人は、逃走中です。
