「児童ポルノ法違反」容疑でフィリピン人女性(35)が逮捕された。
調べでは、女性は、タギッグ市の自宅に
10代の女性を集めてチャットをさせ
出会い系サイトを運営していた疑い。
自身の娘(15)も出演させていたという。
また、マニラ市福祉事務局は
キャポ地区の映画館「ハリウッド・シアター」を摘発した。
男娼の巣窟になっていた疑いがあるこの映画館は
市政府の規制に反しているとして、強制閉鎖されるという。

ケソン市アラネタ・コロシアムに会場を変更すると発表した。
会場を所有するSMグループがバギオ市で木の伐採を行った疑惑に関連し
環境活動に熱心なスティング側が考慮したものだという。
フィリピン北部の都市で
巨大なモールの建設と駐車場敷地のため
に182本もの木を伐採する予定だったようだ。
しかしスティングは環境保護
特に森林伐採などに反対していることで有名な人物。
1989年、妻のトルーディとともに熱帯雨林保護基金を設立するなど
環境保護運動に力を入れるアーティストとして
先陣を切った存在として知られている。

銃で撃たれる
フィリピン ルソン島バターン州の飲食店で
２２日未明、客の日本人男性のスギヤマさん（４９）が
店に入ってきた２人組の男に突然、銃で撃たれて重傷を負った。
スギヤマさんは
近くの病院に運ばれたが、命に別条はないという。
警察は、目撃証言から２人組をフィリピン人と特定し
１人を殺人容疑などで拘束、残る１人の行方を追っている。
警察によると
スギヤマさんは２２日午前２時前
フィリピン人の妻の親戚と一緒に店にいた際、胸や膝を撃たれた。
スギヤマさんは妻とともに今年初め
妻の実家のあるヘルモサを訪れ、１１月に日本に戻る予定だったという。
