「フィリピンの経済成長率は今年6.4％に伸びる」見通しと伝えた。
しかし、フィリピン統計局によると
今年1月の失業率が、2012年10月の6.8％から7.1％に上昇したいう。
289万人のフィリピン人が失業しているという。
フィリピンは、経済成長が著しい反面、失業率が高い。

業界団体が反発しているという。
タクシー業界団体によると
所有者の多くは元海外就労者や退職者らで
「新車を買えず、生計手段を失う」などの不満が出ているという。
