“Sanshirō” and “Achilles Last Stand”

I’d love to link Professor Hirota’s criticism of the English that includes the verb “fossilize” on page 164 of “Sanshirō” by Sōseki Natsume (Tokyo: Shincho Bunko, 1991) to the line that includes the word “Albion” in the lyrics of “Achilles Last Stand” by Led Zeppelin (“Presence”).
