The advanced robot technology has been prevailing in human life rapidly and contributing to society. I believe this technology will develop further and people will depend on robots more in terms of laboring instead of humans, an automation of manufacture and a care for senior citizens.
First of all, many developed countries are facing labor shortages especially in physical labor. People tend to avoid these kinds of jobs due to its hardness. However, robots are being substituted for these hard works gradually in some industries like a mining site such as coal and iron ore.
In addition, robots are already quite common in manufacturing industries and they are developing even more. For example, in car manufacturing companies, robots can assemble thousands of parts into a car. This is more accurate and quicker than human involvement. The process which should be done by humans would be very limited in future. Even after the factories, robots are expected to help drivers on the roads. People might be able to enjoy full autonomous driving with highly advanced artificial intelligence.
Finally, robots can not only be a caretaker but also someone to talk with for elderly people. In this aged society, these two functions are crucial so that people can spend a fulfilling life after their retirements.
For these reasons, I have the confidence that future generations will depend on robots all the more. I think that the support by robots will be something indispensable to have a better life in future. (248語）
