世界平和は達成可能な目標であるか。

World peace is an achievable goal?

（アウトライン）

☆序論

・世界平和は人類の永年の目標であるが、共産国家の存在や食料や燃料の不足、インターネットの負の側面によって世界は更に不安定になると考えられる。

☆本論

・歴史が証明するように共産国家はしばしば紛争を引き起こしてきた。不幸にも、中国など未だに共産国家が存在し世界平和を脅かしている。

・人口が増加するにつれて食料やエネルギー不足の問題は深刻化している。これらの問題は、局所的な争いだけでなく国家間の問題のきっかけとなりうる。

・インターネットは事実かどうかにかかわらず匿名で自分の意見を述べることが出来るため、不測の事態を招く恐れがある。

☆結論

・これらの理由により世界平和に関して楽観視は出来ない。しかしながら、これは世界平和をあきらめることを意味するものではなく、最大限の努力を続けていくべきである。

World peace has been a long-standing goal for human beings. However, due to the existence of communist countries, the shortage of foods and energies and the negative side of the internet, the world is likely to be more unstable.

First of all, as history proves, communism often causes conflict because it tends to deny different values and forces people to have the same value as others. Unfortunately, there are still some communist countries including China. As we all know, China is threatening peace right now.

Moreover, the shortage of food and energy are becoming more serious as the population is growing. It is said that almost all major wars were brought about by competition of fossil fuel like crude oil. Food and water can be a trigger of major conflicts between nations as well as local violent struggles in the near future.

My final argument against world peace is the negative side of the internet. People can post their own opinions anonymously without borders regardless of whether it is true or not. This can lead to an unexpected result because people can be influenced by each other easily. Some people even do it intentionally for political purposes.

For the above reasons, I cannot be optimistic about world peace in the future. However, it does not mean we give up definitely but we have to make an effort to seek world peace anyway. (232語）
