Hi! It's been almost a year since I last posted anything on here.
I admit I have been avoiding Pigg and Ameba a bit ever since the announcement of Pigg's ending in December. It's sad.I do feel okay now though I'm sure the sadness would be the worst on the final day coz I'd be saying goodbye to my friends.
Anyway, to distract myself, I've fully submitted myself into my hobby of taking care of cacti and succulents. I'm still a beginner and I'm learning everyday. I even joined local groups lol.
There would bad days when I'd find a rotting succulent, an accidentally uprooted cacti, or an etiolated succulent. It's fun searching for how-tos coz not everything is a proven fix until you try it yourself.
This delicate and tiny sedum dasyphyllum that I bought in May almost died during Summer but I somehow managed to save it. It hasn't grown that much from when I repotted it but it obviosly thin and etiolated.
I increased its watering and only watered it from the bottom. After a month (and probably with the help of the slightly colder rainy season weather), it's gotten a bit bushier and more compact than before. The color also changed into bluish-green and the leaves look so plump ang juicy. I'm quite happy with the improvement.
Taking care of plants is very therapeutic. ![]()
