Stinkies (Asclepiads)

I bought this Orbea (I don't know the specific name, probably caudata ) in 2018. I've never seen its bloom yet even after almost two years. It's such a fast grower that I've already propagated about 4 to 6 pots -some I gave away as gifts.

It grew tiny buds last year but dried too quickly (I should have watered it more).

My second "stinky" is this giant stink bomb, Stapelia gigantea .

It smells as if a garbage truck passed by. It also smells a bit like a dead rat.

The flower is very hairy lol

The stems are small, looks brown and dead when left in full sun. I placed the pot in partial shade that gets hours of direct morning sun so it already reverted to green. I almost didn't see the flower bud coz it's as small as a peanut.

Huernia aspera

It first bloomed right before Christmas.These pictures are from yesterday.

When I bought some cacti online, the seller gave me a free cutting of Stapelia unicornis. It rooted successfully in my propagation basket so maybe I'll put it in its own pot next week.
