昨日友だちからラインで情報をもらいました。
他のコミュニティでも一気に情報がかけめぐりましたのでご存知の方もいらっしゃるかもしれませんが、ここでもシェアします。
【BGCでの誘拐未遂事件】
◯ニュージーランド人の10歳の女の子
◯BGCの30th Street、St.Louisの裏
◯娘さんはお母さんと一緒にドライバーのピックアップを待っている途中で、お母さんはドライバーが見当たらないので探しながら歩いていた
◯フィリピン人女性が娘さんを道の反対側に引きずるようにつかんだ
◯フィリピン人女性はピンクのシャツを着て、首にタグ？をつけ、オレンジのロングヘアだった
◯一瞬の出来事だった
5月の選挙が近づくにつれて、誘拐が増えるという情報も合わせて回ってきました。
これとは別件での誘拐事件の話もあったと耳にしています。
お子さんはもちろん、大人も危ないといわれます。
比較的平和と言われるBGCでも誘拐未遂の話はちょくちょく耳にします。

マニラの誘拐は身代金目的ではなく、、、最悪の事態になるおそれがあります。
対策としては、
・子どもの手を離さない
・車道のそばを通るときは特に目を離さない
・大声で助けを呼べるよう人通りの多い道を選ぶ
などでしょうか、、。
夫は「GPS付きのデバイスを身に着けさせたほうがいいんじゃないの」と話してました。
対策がほかにもあれば教えてください。

This is a reminder to everyone to keep eyes on your kids at all times. I'm a kiwi expat here and my daughter is 10 years old. Just a short while ago at the back of st Louis carpark on 30th street in BGC, my daughter was grabbed by a Filipina in a pink shirt, tags around her neck, with long orange looking hair who tried to drag her in The opposite direction To where I was. I was walking trying to look for my driver and on the phone as he messaged me to say he was somewhere else around the corner and not where I'd asked to be picked up. It all happened very quickly. I didn't see the lady. My daughter said she tried to kick this lady in the leg and got out of her grasp when she spun around to find me. I turned around to talk to my daughter to find her running towards me less than 5 metres away from where I was. Our driver arrived and she told me in the car and was very upset. I'm just letting everyone know as apart from those details above about the lady she can't tell me anything else as to what she looks like, and our car was going in the opposite direction on a one way street to where the lady was walking and trying to drag my daughter. I've just got home in shock and have a distressed child. In terms of reporting this I will try and go back soon to see if I can, but I doubt much will come from it. Just be aware when out and about with your kids. I've been here on and off 6 years and this is the first incident I have had personally. My daughter wasn't far from my side. I literally turned my back and walked In the other direction to find my driver and thought my daughter was following me.
