今更な気もしますが、日本では購入した物に不具合があったりサービスの質が良くないとき「クレーム」をします。ですが、クレームと言うのは、"claim"と書き、主に「主張する」という意味の英単語です。

The claim of the defendant was regarded as an insufficient proof by the juries because of lacking a solid evidence.
「被告の主張は、陪審員たちの確固とした物証ではないという判断で不十分と見なされた。」

The business analyst claimed that there will be a sharp drop in a price of oil in a next decade.
「評論家は、石油の値段が今後十年間で急激に落ち込む、と主張した。」

法的な意味合いで使われる単語なので厳密に違うとは言い切れませんが適切な単語は"complaint"(苦情)です。下の文はcomplaintの動詞である"complain"(苦情を言う)を使った文です。

"Amazon.co.jp is still said to be incapable of shortening the time for processing returned items from customers, and this absence of know-how is critically affecting to their services.", one customer complained.
「『アマゾンは、顧客からの返品商品の処理時間を未だに短縮する能力がないようで、このノウハウの欠如が、彼らの顧客に対するサービスに致命的に影響している』と、一人の顧客がクレームを入れている。」

さて、complaintには似たような単語がたくさんあります。その一つが、"compliment"(賛辞)です。complaintとは真逆の意味です。

I was very impressed with the wedding compliments from you.
「あなたからの結婚式での祝辞にはとても感動しました。」

ちなみに、complimentの形容詞"complimentary"は「敬意を表する」という意味と共に「無料の」という意味があります。

If you participate in the event, you will be provided a complimentary beverage!!
「参加してくださった方には、無料でお飲み物を提供します。」
