I was depressed by some Japanese mass media, eg TV programs in Japan. Their attitude inclined me to doubt their responsibilities.

What disappointed me most was due to their information "potential '' by their subjective criteria. Exactly, it is patently obvious to everyone except some people that the cult group (troop), Aum, was guilty of abducting Mr. Kariya against his will, on the other hand, using deadly fumes at subway stations in central Tokyo.

"Where was this nerve gas made ? No, 6 or other place ? '' etc. Some people, including writers, critics, professors and lawyers etc, love to dispute with each other about such things, though such their debate will not play an important role in solving Aum issue. I'm convinced that this issue is in police's territory and that of law court, and where that nerve gas was made will be made use of as an evidence in order to solve Aum issue after all. I think nonsense is their controversy.

TV audience, including me, are conscious and curious about this issue without fail. However, I hope some broadcast authorities will refrain from adding fuel to this issue so that they can record higher audience ratio than usually. I didn't know whether they were blithly unaware of the trouble they had caused. Such TV programs informed me of their anxiety about how a lot of Aum believers can come back to general society, in spite of having no persuasive power because I've already been given uncomfortable feeling towards the believers by their programs. This is true of a lot of audience, too, I think.

It is more important to understand the innocent believers than to criticize them. Therefore I need the truth which is not "potential truth '' It's so exaggerating and unclear.
