昨日はWhitney Houstonの誕生日でしたね。生きていればまだ50歳。若すぎます。
という訳で、大好きなWhitneyの曲をUP。
99年のMy Love is Your Loveに収録された曲で、Arista RecordsのCEO騒動に巻き込まれ、急遽Greatest Hitsのリリースが決まったため、Single Cutを計画したものの中途半端に終わってしまった曲。その為、Tony MoranのRemixがPromoで出たりとかはしてましたね。
日本では、当初Greatest Hitsと言われてたアルバムが4枚目のオリジナルアルバムと変更になったため、「歌詞付、対訳無」でも当時ネットで話題になってましたが…(笑)
やっぱり今聴いてもいい曲。こういう歌詞の曲が多いからWhitneyって好き。
