Hirth Martinezのアルバムです。
日本盤の帯に「古くからの友人であり、名プロデューサーであるジョン･サイモンや、実力はミュージシャン達と共に作り上げた、ジャジーでブラジリアン・テイストあふれるドリーミーな音楽世界」と書かれていますが、まさにそういう感じです。書く事書かれていたから、もう書く事がなくなってしまいました。
もしもついでに余計な事を付け足すとしたら、クラリネットの影響の大きさでしょうか。そしてアコースティック・スウィング(しかし、ほとんどの曲はスウィングじゃありません)、もしくはオールドタイム・グッドタイム・ミュージックのような雰囲気が感じられます(基本はフォークだと思います)。
不思議な古さと懐かしさ、そしてセンスの良さが感じられる作品です。
