レイキ、、、せっかく習ったのに、
放ったらかしになってませんか？
「レイキ？昔、受講して、よくわからないまま、なんとなく遠ざかってました。」
「レイキクラス受講したけど、手当ての仕方は習ってないです。」
「霊気クラスでエネルギーのパイプを開けてもらいましたがそれっきりです！」
「お金払って、修了証とかもあるけど、なんかピンときてないなぁ。」

こうやって、色々発信をしていると、遠隔靈氣のご依頼を受けたり、私のクラスを受講してない方からも靈氣に関する質問があります。
そんな中で、クラスの最中に手当て練習がなかった、とか、元々習った先生から、クラスが終わった後のコミュニケーションが続いていない方って、結構多いんです。
もったいない！
、、、思わず言っちゃいます。
私はとにかく、靈氣をお家で使って欲しいので、習ったんだったら、手を当ててみて！
ってお伝えしてます。
靈氣療法の創始者の臼井先生は、1923年の関東大震災の時、被災地を歩いて回って怪我している方達に靈氣療法を施していたそうです。
その直弟子の軍医だった林先生は、自分の治療院で、靈氣療法師を雇って、患者さんに靈氣療法で治療をしていたそうです。
そのまた直弟子の、山口千代子先生は、60年以上も靈氣療法を家庭療法として、病氣や怪我した家族や友人に手当てをしていたそうです。
そのご子息であり私の師匠である、山口忠夫先生は、今もご健在で京都を拠点に靈氣療法の継承を続けていらっしゃいます。
こう言う歴史があるので、手当てが基本であるはずの、靈氣療法を習得するためのクラスで手当ての仕方を習わないって、じゃ、講師は何を教えるんだろう？って
すっごく不思議に思っちゃいます。
以下、その典型的なやり取り。
レイキを習ったばかりの男性が、体調の悪い奥様にレイキをしている時のやりとりです。
私の直傳靈氣セミナーは受けられていないのですが、以前に遠隔靈氣のご依頼を受けて、やり取りをしている中、レイキクラスを受講されたそうです。
レイキクラスの講義中には、手当て練習などなかったそうなので、とにかく手を当て続けたら、何かわかってくるだろうと思い、応援しています。
靈氣は、愛情や親切心が形になったもの。
言葉では伝えられない愛情は、手を当てることで、伝わるのではないかと思います。
旦那様が、奥様に手を当てる、そんな素敵なことが
日本のどこかで起こっていると思うと、
心がほっこりしますね。

わたしは、過去１７年の経験で、

Reiki... Have you let it go to after learning it?
"Reiki? I took a class ages ago, didn't quite understand it, and somehow drifted away."
"I attended a Reiki class but didn't learn how to do the hands onhealing."
"I had my energy channels opened in a Reiki class, but that was all!"
"I paid money, got a certificate, but something just didn't click."
Have you let Reiki go after taking the class?
Nooo! You still have it in your hands!
As I continue to share various things on SNS, I receive requests for distance Reiki healing, and even those who haven't attended my classes ask questions about Reiki.
In such cases, I've noticed quite a few people who didn't practice healing during the class, or haven't had ongoing communication with the teacher they originally learned from.
"Don't let it go!"
Anyway, I just want people to use Reiki at home. If you've learned it, try placing your hands!
That's what I keep telling them.
The founder of Reiki therapy, Usui Mikao sensei, apparently administered Reiki therapy to the injured in the areas affected by the Great Kanto Earthquake in 1923.
His direct disciple, Hayashi sensei: a Navel Doctor, employed Reiki practitioners in his clinic and treated patients with Reiki therapy.
Another direct disciple, Chiyoko Yamaguchi sensei, practiced Reiki therapy as home care for over 60 years, offering healing to sick or injured family and friends.
And her son and my mentor, Tadao Yamaguchi sensei, is actively working and continues to pass on Reiki therapy based in Kyoto.
With such a history, in a class meant to learn Reiki therapy, which should fundamentally involve healing, not learning how to administer healing... it makes me wonder, what is the instructor teaching?
I had a typical exchange:
A man who just learned Reiki is having a conversation while doing Reiki to his unwell wife.
He hasn't taken my Jikiden Reiki seminar, but during a previous interaction regarding a distance Reiki request, it turned out he attended some one's Reiki class.
During the Reiki class, it seems there was no hands-on practice in healing, so I've been encouraging him, thinking that if he continues placing his hands, he might come to understand something.
Chiyoko sensei said Reiki is a compassion in action. It is the action that can express love and kindness.
Love that cannot be conveyed in words might be communicated through placing hands.
Thinking about a husband placing his hands on his wife, such a lovely thing happening somewhere in Japan, warms the heart, doesn't it?

Through my 17 years of experience,
I strongly feel that
"I can maintain my and my family's health at home."
Through a three-day Jikiden Reiki seminar,
I would love to see more people learn Reiki
and become individuals who can hear their body's signals.
I believe that if each and every one of us lives like that,
a society that is kind to the Earth will emerge.
In Japan, there has been a term called "teate" (care/healing) for a long time.
I believe it's about time we all remembered it together.
May Jikiden Reiki reach many people.
