スタッズレザーハーフパンツ、制作スタート！

新作のスタッズレザーハーフパンツの制作が始まりました！

今回は、デザイン画からスタートして、パターン制作、トワルでの仮縫い、そして本番のレザー裁断までをご紹介します。

一枚のデザイン画から、少しずつ実物の服へと変わっていく工程です。

Studded Leather Half Pants – Production Begins!

We have started working on a new pair of Studded Leather Half Pants!

This time, we would like to show you the process from the original design sketch and pattern making to the toile fitting, and finally, cutting the actual leather.

It is always exciting to see an idea on paper gradually turn into a real garment.

まずはデザイン画から

最初に、全体のシルエットやポケットの位置、切り替えなどを考えながらデザインを決めていきます。

今回のポイントは、レザーならではの存在感に、スタッズカスタムを組み合わせること。

ハーフパンツというカジュアルなアイテムですが、Obeliskらしい力強い雰囲気に仕上げていきます。

Starting with the Design Sketch

First, we decide on the overall silhouette, pocket placement, panel lines, and other details.

One of the key features of this design is the combination of the strong character of leather with custom stud work.

Although half pants are basically a casual item, we are giving them a bold and distinctive Obelisk style.

トワルを制作してシルエットを確認

パターンが完成したら、いきなり本番のレザーを裁断するのではなく、まずはトワルを制作します。

実際にパンツの形に組み上げて、ウエストからヒップ、太ももへのラインや、全体のバランスをチェック。

平面のパターンだけでは分からない部分を、立体にすることで細かく確認していきます。

Checking the Silhouette with a Toile

Once the pattern is completed, we do not immediately cut the actual leather.

First, we make a toile to check the three-dimensional shape of the pants.

We carefully examine the lines from the waist through the hips and thighs, as well as the overall balance and silhouette.

This allows us to make adjustments that cannot be fully judged from a flat pattern alone.

そして、本番のレザーを裁断！

トワルでシルエットを確認し、パターンを調整したら、いよいよ本番のレザーを裁断していきます。

革は、生地と違って一枚一枚に表情があります。

革の状態や部位を見ながら、どのパーツをどこから取るかを考えて裁断していくのも、レザーウェア作りの重要な工程です。

ここから縫製され、さらにスタッズが加わることで、デザイン画だったものが本物のスタッズレザーハーフパンツへと変わっていきます！

Now It’s Time to Cut the Leather!

After checking the silhouette with the toile and making the necessary pattern adjustments, it is finally time to cut the actual leather.

Unlike ordinary fabric, every piece of leather has its own unique character.

We carefully examine each hide and decide where every pattern piece should be placed before cutting. This is an important part of creating high-quality leatherwear.

From here, the pieces will be sewn together and the studs will be added, gradually transforming the original sketch into a real pair of Studded Leather Half Pants.
