My stretching is closer to Yoga... not push too much , Not stop breathing, Not to short. When I did Yoga program, That made me awake about How ling I had been doing WRONG way to stretch??!!!! Stretching should be gently release your body and mind. It should make you feel better. Not cringing, Not show off How DEEP you can go.
