My November 11 blog

<Hanshin train
The Kansai baseball team "Hanshin Tigers" won the Central League.
Hanshin Tigers competed against the Orix of the Pacific League and became number one in Japan.

This is great news for my family, who have been fans of the Hanshin Tigers for many years.
Hanshin Electric Railway also ran trains like the one in the photo.
However, it would be challenging if everyone would  ride on the train all at the same time because accidents may occur, so they run the trains at secret times.

<A 70-year-old reunion
I attended my high school reunion. About 150 people attended the event because we are celebrating 70 years old. More so, the coronavirus pandemic restrictions have been lifted. I had a long conversation with my old friends.  ``We want to stay healthy until we reach 80 years old,'' we said.

<Kyoto cuisine
A day before the reunion, we had a small lunch reunion at a Kyoto restaurant called ``Aun'' in Nishijin.  I an satisfied with atmosphere and delicious food. I would like to go there again with my friends.

<Kukuri Terrace near my lodge in Hirugano Highland.
A cafe called ``Kukuri Terrace'' has reopened in Hirugano Highlands. I like relaxing while looking at the wood burning stove here.

The surrounding trees are also beautiful, and this time it is snowy. When summer comes, I would like to hold a yoga lesson here on the balcony.

<Dog’s event
When I got off the expressway at the Kawashima service area, I met a lot of dogs.

There just happened to be an event where dog lovers gathered together, and there were hundreds of dogs, ranging from small dogs to large ones. It was the first time in my life that I had seen such a large number and variety of dogs. It was very interesting.

<Ferris wheel
After watching the dog event, I rode the Ferris wheel alone.
As I went higher, I could see Gifu Castle, the Nagara River, and the Gifu

townscape.
My second daughter lived there five years ago, so I often stayed in Gifu City.
Gifu Castle in particular stands out and is cool because it is located on a high mountain.

<Jionzenji Temple
I went to the temple "Zionzenji" in the town of Gujo Hachiman.
This place is famous for its autumn leaves, and I sat alone in the Japanese-style room and looked at the garden.

Then, I did zazen meditation for 10 minutes. I felt refreshed both in mind and body.

<Self-written book
We learned calligraphy from Ms. Nishimura, a member of my gymnastics team who lives in Hirugano Highland. Although it is called calligraphy, it is not a traditional calligraphy, but rather an art-like calligraphy.

My husband and I took the class together in my lodge, and we started off by writing by filling in circles, using a pencil holder. It was fresh and interesting.

<Sota

My grandson Souta is growing bigger and bigger. I video call him on time almost every day.
Now it will look like this:

The other day he attempted to blow out the candles on a birthday cake that his mom had drawn on the ground.

I love him very much.

That's all for today. See you next month.
