Across the Border, Across the Universe

Mid-September, we crossed the Nepal border and enter India world.
Stayed 3 days in holy city Haridwar, the city of sadhus.
Midnight, crossed the great river Ganges.
Many people sleeping on the road.
crazy hobo came to our rickshaw.
This is India, here I come.

Went to Gangotri, the sacred sanctuary in the Himalayas.
Beautiful scenary, breaking breaths.
Find the beginning point of the Ganges, 3800m high in the mountains.

We rent a house at Rishikesh, the place called Tapovan.
up the hill for 30 minutes from laxmandulla bridge.
Quiet and nice place by the river, reminding me of Yakushima.

Started playing Sitar.
Started making our own food with the wood fire.
Practicing many recipe of curry.

We will stay here for a while maybe till the end of this year.

Lakeside Pokhara

Under the Annapuruna Himaraya mountains, quiet Fewa lakeside,
very relaxing city Pokhara is there.

We stay few days here and go ahead to the Nepal India boader.

Silent Hills

2 hours from Kathmandu by local bus,
already far from traffic noise.

Nagarkot village is a quiet place with 2000 people.
We stayed two nights with crazy boys singing and jamming all night long.
Village is in the mist in the morning.

Very beautiful and sacred.
We are back to Kathmandu and go to Pokhala tomorrow.
