ヨブ記
事の起こり
１ ウツの地にヨブという人がいた。
ウヅの地にヨブと名くる人あり
There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job;
There was a man named Job who lived in the land of Uz.
無垢な正しい人で、神を畏れ、悪を避けて生きていた。
その人と成り完全かつ正しくて、神を畏れ、悪に遠ざかる。
He was blameless, a man of complete integrity.
He feared God and stayed away from evil.
And that man was perfect and upright.
and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.
７人の息子と３人の娘を持ち、
その産めるものは、男の子７人女の子３人。
He had seven sons and three daughters.
And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters.
