英語での日付の書き方と読み方
アメリカでは、数字のみじゃなく日付を書きたい場合、月→日→年という順で書きます。そして、月と年の間にカンマを入れます。例えば、2012年1月20日は以下のように書きます。

読み方: January twentieth, twenty twelve
この th は書いても書かなくても自由ですが、20が twenty ではなく序数の twentieth ということを表すので、どちらも序数として th を付けて数字を読みます。
