令和5年9月1日、秋田にて多様性に満ちた社会づくりフォーラムが開催されました。こちらのフォーラムは、基調講演とパネルディカッションの二部生で構成されていました。
こちらのイベントで、（にしゃんたが）基調講演はさせていただきました。テーマは、「ちがいを楽しみ、力にかえる」です。そして後半では「ちがいをみんなで思いやる、みんなに優しい秋田を目指して」をテーマにパネルディカッションが開催されました。地域の重要な立場におられる産官学民の関係者が大勢会場にお集まりでした。
秋田県では昨年は「アンコンシャスバイアス」をなくすことに重点を置いた学習会などが開催され、それを踏まえて今回のフォーラムの開催に至ったききました。さらには、秋田県では、差別を解消し、県民が安心して暮らすことができ、かつ、持続的に発展することができる社会を目指し、秋田県多様性に満ちた社会づくり基本条例※が令和4年4月1日に施行されており、県としての多様性を楽しんで、力にかえよう」という強い気持ちが伝わってきます。敬意を評します。
主催者さまより「素晴らしい講演でした」との有り難いお言葉を頂戴いたしました。この度、講演をさせていただくご縁をいただいたことに感謝申し上げます。ありがとうございました。

Akita Prefecture is working towards the elimination of all forms of discrimination, aiming to create a society where all residents respect each other’s individuality, embrace diverse cultures and values, and continue to support one another.
On September 1st, Reiwa 5 (2023), a forum for building a diverse society was held in Akita. The forum consisted of two parts: a keynote speech and a panel discussion.
I had the honor of delivering the keynote speech at this event, under the theme “Embracing and Harnessing Differences.” In the latter part of the forum, a panel discussion was held under the theme of “Caring for Differences Together and Striving for a Kinder Akita for Everyone.” Many stakeholders from various sectors of the community gathered at the venue.
In Akita Prefecture, learning sessions with a focus on eliminating “unconscious bias” were held last year, which served as the basis for organizing this forum. Furthermore, Akita Prefecture has enacted the “Basic Ordinance for Building a Diverse Society in Akita Prefecture” on April 1st, Reiwa 4 (2022), aiming to create a society where discrimination is eliminated, residents can live in peace, and sustainable development is possible. This reflects the strong determination of Akita Prefecture to enjoy and harness diversity. I extend my deepest respect.
