  • (3) Time font size, font weight, and color
  • (4) Date font size, font weight, and color
  • (5) Calendar text color, text frame
  • (6) Memo (any text, font, size, color, and position)

10.Other notes, etc.

  (1) When you edit a widget but it does not change

  • First of all, make sure that you have performed the correct editing operation. For example, if you want to edit a [2x2] widget, but you are editing it on a [4x2] or [4x4] page, make sure you are not editing it on a different size editing screen.
  • If you have a lot of widgets on your home screen, the result of editing may not be reflected immediately (for example, the color may not change immediately, or the image may not change...). (For example, the color does not change immediately, or the image does not change...).
  • In such a case, please do one of the following
  • (1) Move your finger back and forth between the pages of the home screen (place your finger on the home screen and slide it horizontally to the left or right).
  • (2) Display the lock screen and go back to the home screen.
  • (3) Restart the device.
  • Normally, the widget image, text, color, etc. will be reflected correctly after a while.

  (2) When the wallpaper and widget images are misaligned

  • Make sure that the widget is placed in the correct location.
  • Press and hold on the widget, select [Edit Widget], select [Place in], and check if the location where the widget is placed is set correctly.
  • In [2x2], there are six types of widgets: [Top Left], [Top Right], [Middle Left], [Middle Right], [Bottom Left], and [Bottom Right].
  • In [4x2], there are six types: [top row], [middle row], and [bottom row].
  • In [4x4], there are two types: [top row] and [bottom row].

  (3) Subtle color difference phenomenon between the wallpaper and the widget image

  • This is a specification of iOS or iPhone, not a bug of the application.

  (4) How to set the wallpaper

  • If you want to change only the wallpaper after attaching the widget to the home screen, start the [Wg App] and perform the image trimming operation.
  • Specifically, there are two ways to do this as follows
  • A: Manually setting the wallpaper: This is the method explained with images in this tutorial. You will have to go through many steps to change the wallpaper, and it is quite tedious.
  • B: Automatically setting the wallpaper: Recommended setting: Select the image you want to use as wallpaper, cut it out, and press the [SetWall] shortcut button on the bottom right. This is the only way to set the wallpaper automatically. To use this method, you need to be able to use the [SetWall] shortcut beforehand. Once set, everything from setting the parallax effect to setting the home screen will be done automatically.

  (5) About updating the calendar

  • The calendar will not be automatically updated when the month changes.
  • The way to refresh is as follows.
  • 1) Tap the widget displaying the calendar to start [Wg app].
  • 2) On the [Wg App] screen, check the size of the widget you want to edit ([2x2], [4x2], or [4x4]).
  • 3) Tap a different color from the current color in [Calendar Text Color] and [Calendar Frame Color], wait a few seconds, and then tap the original color again.

  (6) Time display deviation

  • There will be a discrepancy of a few seconds between the time displayed in the upper left corner of the home screen and the time displayed on the widget.
  • For example, when the time changes from 15:09 to 15:10, it may take a few seconds to rewrite the time on the widget.
  • This is not a bug.

  (7) About battery drain

  • Putting up widgets does not noticeably reduce the battery life.
  • However, if you put a lot of widgets on multiple home screens, it might drain your battery.
  • Please design your home screen while keeping an eye on it.

 (8) About widget stacking

  • You can place many widgets of the same size on top of each other (stacking).
  • For example, follow the steps below.
  • 1) Put two [2x2] widgets on the home screen.
  • 2) Press and hold a location other than an icon on the home screen.
  • 3) The icons and widgets will shake and become ready to move.
  • 4) Place your finger on one of the widgets and move it over the other widget.
  • 5) The two widgets will now be in one place.
  • 6) A ":" will be added to the right side of the overlapping widget (the number of vertical dots is the number of widgets).
  • 7) You can switch widgets by placing your finger on the widget and sliding it up or down.
  • If the wallpaper and widget image do not match, press and hold the misaligned widget, and then click [Edit Widget] > [Place in Widget] to re-edit the location where you want to paste it.

   (9) About the memo function

  • Using the memo function, you can display a short text on the widget.
  • A total of 18 types of memos can be registered: memo1-6 in [2x2] size, memo1-6 in [4x2] size, and memo1-6 in [4x4] size.
  • The text is done on the [Wg app] side, and the memo display is done on the widget side.

  • 2) Select the widget size ([2x2], [4x2], or [4x4]) where you want to display the memo.
  • 3) Tap one of memo1 to 6.
  • 4) Tap the edit field.

  • 1) Press and hold the widget on the home screen.
  • 2) Select [Edit Widget].
  • 3) Select [Items to display].
  • 4) Select the memo number you want to display.
  • Note: Make sure that the "Registered memo number" and the "Widget size" match.

 (10) About Widget Name
  • The name [wg] will be placed under the widget. This widget name cannot be left blank due to Apple's app regulations.
  • When the rule is changed, we will update the widget so that it can be created without a name.

 (11) When a widget is not found.
  • If the widget is not listed after tap the [+] button on the home screen, the following search screen will appear.

  • at this search field, enter "wg".. go back
