[WgApp] with Shortcut[SetWall] : Settings

<1>About Shortcut[SetWall]

  • OwnWidget allows you to set the wallpaper via a shortcut application.
  • You can add OwnWidget's own program called [SetWall] to the shortcut app that comes with iOS from the beginning.
  • Shortcut [SetWall] is a handy program that allows you to set the wallpaper on home screen at the push of a button.
  • To be able to use this [SetWall], please read and execute the following instructions.

 


<2>Check before adding the shortcut [SetWall].

  • (A)Tap [Add shortcut] on the app screen.

  • When you see the following screen, go to (B) to check your Apple ID settings.

  • (B)Tap [Settings] on the home screen

  • Sign in using your Apple ID (tap the blue circle to set it up).
  • If you have already signed in with your Apple ID, please proceed to (C).

If you have signed in with your Apple ID, proceed to (C).

 

  • (C)Check if there is an app named "Shortcuts" on home screen.
  • This app comes with iOS from the beginning, but some of you may have deleted it because you don't use it. 
  • If you don't have this "Shortcuts" app, please download it from AppStore and then follow the section below.

  1. If [Allow untrusted shortcuts] is turned on, the next section "3. Enable shortcuts" is not necessary, and please proceed to the next section "4. Add the shortcut application [SetWall] to the application.
  2. If [Allow untrusted shortcuts] is off, try setting it to on by tapping the button. If it is now set to on, the next section "3. Enable shortcuts" is not necessary. Please proceed to the next section "4. Add the shortcut application [SetWall] to the application".
  3. If you have never used the shortcut, it will not respond when you tap it. If it does not respond when you tap the button, go to the next section "3. Enabling shortcuts" to enable [Allow untrusted shortcuts] to be turned on.

  1. Now you can use the shortcut application.
  2. Next, add a shortcut [SetWall] on the app side.

  • If [SetWall] has been added to the shortcut, the [SetWall] screen will appear.

  • When you return to the home screen, you will see that the trimmed wallpaper has been set.
