11:Feeling cannot shown clearly

Suppose somebody lost his way, and he asked me to show the direction to his destination. Each of us doesn't have an acquaintance, so he doesn't know if I'm clear to the ways around the point where he asked me. And suppose I'm not clear to the ways, so I cannot help him. Then he might give me an appreciation and leave the place we are on. He will not accuse me, and he will not feel anything about me. However, I'll accuse myself, and I'll feel uncomfortable with myself. This is not because of him. This is because of my stance. I was asked for a help at first, but I couldn't fulfill his request. I don't know how much degree of it, but I think for some degree, I disappointed him. He may not care about this since he just asked me for tiny amount of expectation that I might know the way to his destination.  After he leaves, I'll worry about him. I'll worry that if he can get his way or still gets lost. I know that he doesn't care about me at all after he left, but I'll care him. The feeling I experience is beyond expression. I'll feel bad.

When I'm relied on, I'll do my best to fulfill the request. However, when I cannot do, I really feel bad even the request is trivial for the person who asked me. I don't say that people shouldn't ask me something, but I just want to say that for some people, at least I, will feel really depressed if they cannot do the things which they are supposed to do. Am I high-string? I may, but I think everyone has a feeling like this. And the feeling is beyond the expression and really inconvenient. Human is complex...

10:Objection against Japanese Education

I heard before that Japan is one of the most educated country, and I thought so. However, after coming U.S. to study, I have doubted it. In Japan, many people think that if one graduates university, his or her life will be guaranteed. I.e., people think that "joining" to university can be enough to get a job. They don't care what one did in the university. Also, it is said that Japanese university is difficult to enroll, but it's easy to graduate. Then, many students in Japanese university don't spend much time to study, but spend lots of time to play. Since they know that they can get a job at least if they graduate. Some of my friends in Japanese university work really hard on their study, but others don't. Even few of them don't study at all if they know their class doesn't need them to take exams. I don't know why Japanese culture allows such a ridiculous "education" system.

This strange system is not started on the university. I think it's started on the high school education. What we study in high school is only for passing the entrance exams. I was really interested in the computer when I was in the high school, but I couldn't study it in high school since many high schools didn't have a class for programing. Then I needed to study it by myself, but it was tough to do since I didn't have a friend who was interested in computer field. We couldn't learn what we wanted to learn in high school, but we needed to learn boring stuffs for entrance exam for the university. I heard that in American high school, students can select their courses, and they can learn what they want. I'm really jealous of it. I know that what I studied is needed for academic education, but for the people having interests in the specific area like me, high school education is boring and useless. It's detour.

Also, many teachers in high school want their students to go famous university. To make high school famous! I was really disappointed with these dirty adults. They teach us for their self-complacency. "We are not items to make you big." Besides, for entrance exam of university, we needed to study really many things. What I studied in mathematics in my high school when I was 2nd grade is exactly same as what I studied in math last semester. It seems that Japanese study harder that American, but when students graduate, their level of intelligence is same, or American do better than Japanese.

School in America is for the people who want to study, but it in Japan is not. Many students in Japan enroll school because they think that graduating school is a way to be recognized as intelligent person. It's really ridiculous. They go to school not for learning. This Japanese wrong thinking should be corrected, otherwise, Japan will become one of the uneducated country.

9:Ceremony for New Adult

I have a plan to go back Japan this winter vacation. I have many reasons to do so, and best reason that I want go there is to join the ceremony for new adults. This ceremony is for the people who become 20-years-old within Japanese academic year, April to next March. The ceremony is taken place on 2nd Monday on January. It sounds strange for the people whose 20th birthday is after the ceremony to be celebrated, but it's a custom. Then I can join the ceremony despite the fact that my birthday is on March.

The ceremony is held in each city on the same day, and in there, assemblies' seats will be separated into groups of same junior high school. I don't know why assemblies are separated for their junior high, but it's also a custom. It is custom, but I think it's not a bad custom. I haven't seen many of my friends in my junior high for a long time, so it's good chance to see them again. I heard some of them are married, and have a job. Since I'm not married and don't have a job, it will be precious time to have some conversation with them. Also, in the junior high era, many people were in the adolescence. So did I, and I'm looking forward to see the girl who captivated me. Many friends had same experience as me at that time. It feels embarrassed to see her, but it is a good experience and memory.

We were in the adolescence. We had many problems about families, friends, and life. We argued many times, and even we fought sometimes. Now, we become 20, and this is the age we are considered as full-fledged adult. I get the idea of the reason that assemblies are separated for their junior high. To remember junior high era, we can recollect shameful, but precious adolescent time. We had many experiences at that time, and we overcame them. By recalling us so, remind us that we could get over many difficult mental problems at that time, so we can overcome the problems we will face. Also, seeing grown friends remind us that we are adults now, and we should live our own life.

I'm really exited to see how my friends grown. Also, I want to be grown more. I was not interested in the ceremony, but it's our turn. I didn't think that I'm so looking forward to the ceremony. Anyway, I hope I can see many of my friends and have some drinks with them.
